I met Shayna & Frank from a couple that my wife and I photographed this past summer (Janeen & Leon). After getting to know the both of them really well, they had complete trust in me to do whatever I want. One shot I've always dreamed about was shooting in Waikiki during night - long shutter, streaks of light; you get the idea. So funny whenever a bus was near, they would hold still and whisper..."bus bus, stay still". Imagine staying in one spot and one position at 15 minute intervals. Sorry Guys! Thanks to the troopers, Shayna and Frank (they also got wet & dirty!). And thank you for being so patient with me (while playing around with my camera settings). I look forward shooting your beautiful wedding next year!

Flowergirls - Photoshoot

I had the opportunity to work with Michelle Maeda of "Flowergirls" to do a small photoshoot. Michelle's concept was to have a edgy juxtaposition feel. With that in mind, I knew exactly where were to shoot. Here's a few images from the shoot. Thanks Michelle!

glory+stephen

I must say that Glory & Stephen was one of the most laid back and sweetest couple to work with. Ask any of their vendors about them and you'll hear the same. They gave me complete control and freedom for their photography needs. This resulted with so many amazing images. Their ceremony was at held at Sacred Hearts which had a similar feel to church from the movie, Da Vinci Code. The celebration and reception followed at the beautiful Kahala. Fong Tagawa of Floral Inspirations did an amazing job and is probably one the best work I've seen from here and while Digital Expressions (videography) captured the entire event not leaving a moment behind. Coordination and event design was handled by Sandra and Rebecca of Finishing Touch. Thank you Glory and Stephen for letting Kim and I be part of your wedding celebration. I look forward hanging out with the both of you soon.
